At 2214 hours Company 95 was dispatched for a structural investigation at 11 Antietam Road in Alsace Township. Alsace Manor Fire Company was on location and needed assistance from BAF&R with Collapse 95. The team assembled at Reading Avenue and loaded lumber on Collapse 95 and then went to the call with Collapse 95, Traffic 95 and Rescue 95. On arrival Chief Shainline and Lt Neubauer met with Alsace Manor Officers and then evaluated the condition of the structure. In the basement they found that the front basement concrete block wall was compromised and cracked down the center along a joint and the wall was buckling in and the basement was filling with water and mud.
A plan was put in place and Para Tech Struts were put in place to temporarily support the house. After that was completed and the structure was supported and safe, the team began building a wood structure to hold the house and replace the temporary supports. The work was completed by a team of support people outside and a team of Technicians inside working on supporting the structure. Alsace Manor personnel assisted in all aspects of the call
. The team completed the job and returned to Reading Avenue Station around 0300 hours on 7/23/2018
