Thursday June 11, 2020 at 2111 hours Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue was dispatched to 2004 Farmington Avenue in Douglass Township for a single vehicle that snapped a utility pole with driver unconscious and possible entrapment.
On arrival the driver was already standing outside the vehicle after being assisted out of the vehicle by residents in the area. Boyertown Ambulance personnel evaluated him and transported him to a hospital. Met ED arrived on location and shut down power so the vehicle could be removed from the pole.
Douglassville Auto Body removed the vehicle.
Douglass Township, Berks County Police are investigating the crash.
