At 6 minutes past midnight on August 16, 2018 the accident assignment was dispatched to Route 100 at the entrance to Wal-Mart for an accident with injuries. Rescue and Rescue/Engine 95 made the response and arrived to a two vehicle T-Bone style accident. Both drivers self-extricated before arrival however the passenger of one vehicle was still inside the vehicle. Crews stabilized the vehicle and extended the door to assist EMS with patient packaging and removal. A second ambulance was requested by Boyertown EMS and Station 95 personnel tended to that patient until the arrival of Gilbertsville EMS. One vehicle traveled through the side yard striking two trees before stopping at the rear of a residence. Crews powered down both vehicles and assisted the towing company with debris cleanup and with the task of removing the vehicle from the backyard of the residence. The company was placed available at 1:30 am.
