Company 95 was dispatched at 0619 hours for a vehicle into parked cars with rollover and entrapment at 334 E. Philadelphia Avenue. On arrival crews found and elderly male occupant confined in the driver’s seat area of the vehicle and were unable to lay down the seats to slide him out the rear of the vehicle so the roof was laid down to take him out the top of the vehicle. Crews worked with EMS from Boyertown Ambulance to cover and secure the occupant and then the windshield and right side post were cut and then the roof was folded down allowing easy removal of the patient. He was transported by Boyertown Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest.
Eastern Berks Fire Police assisted with traffic control.
