Company 95 was dispatched to 1982 Weisstown Road for a tree into the residence at 1941 hours. on arrival crews found a moderate sized tree had crushed through the roof of the residence causing damage to the roof but it had not caused major structural damage to the main floor and it was stable at the time so a plan was made to remove most of the tree to alleviate stress on the home and to be able to secure the opening in the roof to protect it from the rain. Crews removed most of the tree and covered the hole and and contacted Moyer restoration for the owner and they were enroute as BAF&R were finishing up on scene.
No injuries and the owners were able to stay in the residence.
